A traditional Tweed Vest Waistcoat made by Kerry Woollen Mills who have been in business since 1760 - that's 16 years BEFORE the American Declaration of Independence..
The fabric is made in the Herringbone Style with beautiful highlights of colour enhancing the Navy Blue Herringbone pattern. It is made from 100% Irish Tweed which is spun and woven in the Kerry Mountains - in the traditional fashion it is unlined.
This is a different Vest Waistcoat to many more on the market - it's a stand alone piece of clothing that is designed to be worn as an outer garment rather than inside a jacket. The generous cut means it can be worn over a sweater or sweatshirt. It can be regarded as a Gilet as much as a Vest.
Because the cut is generous we recommend going a size smaller than your usual one.
